What is BARRIER

Barrier is one of the terms commonly used with terminal blocks in electronic components.

A barrier is a special terminal block used to isolate power or other signals.

Barrier terminal blocks generally serve to break electrical contacts and provide electrical isolation.

These terminal blocks are installed on a circuit board (PCB) and are used to isolate different signals such as power to different parts.

Barrier terminal blocks typically have two or more connection points, each connection point capable of connecting one or more wires.
