The RAM is connected to the CPU by a 32-bit data bus, enabling one-state access by the CPU to all byte data, word data, and longword data. The RAM can be enabled or disabled by means of the RAME bit in the system control register (SYSCR). For details on SYSCR, refer to section 3.2.2, System Control Register (SYSCR). The RAM size is 56 Kbytes in the H8SX/1668R and H8SX/1668M, 40 Kbytes in the H8SX/1664R, H8SX/1664M, H8SX/1663R, and the H8SX/1663M.
