Description
ThePI3USB221isahigh-bandwidthswitchspeciallydesigned
fortheswitchingofhigh-speedUSB2.0signalsinhandsetand
consumer applications, such as cell phones, digital cameras,
andnotebookswithhubsorcontrollerswithlimitedUSBI/Os.
The wide bandwidth (1.1 GHz) of this switch allows signals
to pass with minimum edge and phase distortion. The device
multiplexesdifferentialoutputsfromaUSBhostdevicetooneof
twocorrespondingoutputs.Theswitchisbidirectionalandoffers
littleornoattenuationofthehigh-speedsignalsattheoutputs.It
isdesignedforlowbit-to-bitskewandhighchannel-to-channel
noiseisolation,andiscompatiblewithvariousstandards,suchas
high-speedUSB2.0(480Mbps).
