40-pin Expansion Connector
On the back of the starter kit is a 40-pin (2 x 20) header (J12) that can be used to add
expansion boards to the starter kit. The header provides 2-pin UART (through UART4
or UART6), I2C (through I2C2), SPI (through SPI1) and GPIO capabilities. Table 2-3
lists the pins and the functions available through them.
