Description – Remote Signalling Interface

Typical applications of the Remote Signalling Interface RSI10 include the

potential-free signalling of alarms of the ESX300-S electronic circuit pro-

tectors with bus interface used in the

ESX300-S-3xx).

The competitive edge of this sub-assembly is its compatibility for future

system extensions with the remote control and monitoring module RCI10.

When using the RSI10 sub-assembly, the electronic circuit protectors do

no longer have to be replaced in the event of a possible system exten-

sion when operating the

advantages include an additional visual failure indication by means of

the integral tricoloured LED and the well-known plug-and-play capability.

Major applications are in centralised control units of decentralised

systems, e.g. in telecommunications engineering. The RSI10 Remote

Signalling Interface can be extended in operation in 19” racks or ETSI

racks (hot plug-and-play).
