9.2. Discharge mode
9.2.1. Boost output
The DIO59618A provides a synchronous boost output, integrated power MOSFET, and 5 V/1 A output
(output voltage register can be adjusted), with the efficiency up to 93%. The DIO59618A uses a 1 MHz
switching frequency, which can effectively reduce the size of external components. In standby mode, the
automatic load recognition module of VOL and VOR ports is on, and the static current of the chip is 6 μA.
When the VOL and VOR detect the load, VOR_IN and VOL_IN signals are generated inside the chip, and
the interrupt signal is sent to notify the MCU. The MCU then opens the VOL/R channel to realize the
discharge function.
The chip integrates the output voltage configurable, output soft start, overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit,
overtemperature, battery undervoltage, and other functions.
