# CC3100 SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi Network Processor
## Device Overview
️· Features: Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, ARM MCU, BSD Socket APIs, supports 8 TCP/UDP sockets, 2 TLS/SSL sockets, and 256-bit encryption.
️· Applications: IoT applications like cloud connectivity, home automation, industrial control, security systems, and smart energy.
️· Description: A low-power solution for connecting microcontrollers to the IoT with integrated protocols and a robust security experience.
