FOR INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMISSION

DESCRIPTION

The

µPD6P9 is a microcontroller for infrared remote control transmitters and is provided with a one-time PROM

as the program memory.

Because users can write programs for the

µPD6P9, it is ideal for program evaluation and small-scale production

of application systems that use the

µPD67, 67A, 68, 68A, 69, or 69A.

The

µPD6P9 has two types: µPD6P9M1 and 6P9M3. The differences between two types are as follows.

• On-chip carrier generator for infrared remote control: The high-level and low-level width can be set separately

from 250 ns to 64
