Operating Modes
The TLE7258 has 3 major operation modes (see Figure 4):

1) The TxD input is disabled in Sleep mode and the internal pull-up current source is switched off (see Figure 1).

1) Wake-up Source:
RxD:
logical „high“ after Power-up
RxD:
logical „low“ after BUS Wake-up detection
An external pull-up resistor to the external microcontroller supply is required for the Wake-up or Power-up indication
2) TxD: The TxD input is disabled and the pull-up current source is switched off
3) RxD: The RxD output is „high“ because of the external pull-up resistor
