60 / 82 page  CF-ATA command description SMCxxxAF 60/82 9.8 NOP command (00h) This command always fails with the CompactFlash memory card returning command aborted. Table 56 defines the byte sequence of the NOP command. 9.9 Read Buffer command (E4h) The Read Buffer command enables the host to read the current contents of the card’s sector buffer. This command has the same protocol as the Read Sector(s) command. Table 57 defines the Read Buffer command byte sequence. Table 56.
